Find out the speed polar for my boat

The "Polars" diagram of your boat is available in the "expert" menu of the racing interface.

The Polar diagram for your boat is not displayed in the game. This diagram is interactive, it allows you to understand with a simple graphic, the navigation speed of your boat, according to the variations of the wind as well as the sails used.

This diagram option is available with the VIP subscription.

Indications related to the polar diagram are displayed in various ways in the game. They are always based on your current sailing conditions:

• When you open the sail selector, you can see the speed of your boat under the current wind conditions for each sail you have available
• When you alter your course in the game, you will see your projected path increase or shrink based on weather parameters around your boat. This projected path takes weather forecast into account, up to 24 hours in the future. This predicted path also factors in wind speed and angle variations. 

These indications are calculated based on the polar for your boat. They allow you to visualize your projected performance instantly without having to make calculations based on a complex diagram.
