[New] Modification of the allocation of credits at the end of the race

Based on feedback from community members who want to have better visibility on race winnings, we have decided to change the original, more opaque payout method to a threshold payout, as described in the table below.

The races of Virtual Regatta are divided into different categories depending on their size. A good way to know which category your race belongs to is to look at your free credits starting bonus.

Why such a change?

• Mainly: to give visibility on the winnings at the end of the race,
• Second, to rebalance the credit reward, more meritocratic: the first ones earn more, the others a little less,
• And finally, to prepare future changes in the game, in terms of gameplay, which will delight, we all hope, the whole Virtual Regatta community.

We are aware that such a change will shake up the players' habits, and we reserve the possibility to make other changes according to the results of this new model and the feedback from the community. Nevertheless, no changes will be made before the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe.
