The compass is the tool used to steer your boat. It takes the form of a disk located at the bottom left of your game screen.
By activating it, your boat will steer in the desired direction.
To steer your boat from degree to degree, simply click (or tap, on mobile) on the side you wish to change course to. It may sometimes be necessary to alter your heading precisely, in 1-degree steps.
An estimated projection of your future course appears on the interface, allowing you to visualize the direction your boat will take following the chosen heading.
Don't forget to validate your course change each time you wish to modify it!
You'll also find other information on the compass: your boat's wind indication, shown by the white pointer, and the sail currently hoisted on your boat, in the center.
