When sailing close to land, caution is essential! Your virtual boat is not equipped with a depth sounder to measure water depth. This means you should always keep a safe distance from the coastline to avoid running aground.

👉 To sail safely, we recommend using waypoints carefully placed away from the coast, rather than relying solely on programmed routes.
Waypoints give you better control over your trajectory and greatly reduce the risk of grounding.
